Saint Barbara Greek Orthodox Church wants everyone to be able to browse the Greek Grab & Go menu, place a pre-order and pick it up. This page explains what we have done to make that possible, what is outside our control, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our goal

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 (opens in a new tab) at Level AA. Automated scans cannot catch everything, so we also rely on your feedback.

What we have done

  • Every page works with a keyboard alone, shows where the keyboard focus is, and has a “Skip to main content” link.
  • Pages use headings, landmarks and lists so screen readers can move around them.
  • Buttons and links say what they do, including links that open a new tab or your email app.
  • Adding or removing a dish is announced to screen readers, and the cart and menu panels keep keyboard focus inside while they are open.
  • Photos of the dishes have text descriptions.
  • The site can be zoomed, and it respects your device’s “reduce motion” setting.

Accessibility menu

Every page has an accessibility button in the bottom-left corner. It opens a menu of adjustments you can turn on for yourself, with profiles for low vision, color blindness, dyslexia, seizure safety, reduced distractions, motor assistance, cognitive and learning needs, and keyboard navigation, plus more individual settings.

Services we link to

Some steps happen on other services: card payments on Stripe’s secure checkout, donations on Pushpay, and directions on Google Maps. Those companies are responsible for the accessibility of their own pages.
